About Us

Rooms

There are 1-3 bedrooms available, the main bedroom has a queen bed with a walk-in robe and ensuite

the second has a king single and roll away bed and the 3rd has a double bed. Extra rooms are available by arrangement

So we can accommodate families with children with a total of 6 people able to be accommodated

but we are not a party house and will not be renting out for party weekends

The house has been recently renovated and has a large new modern kitchen

We now also have a tiny home in Cooranbong, for couples, and available for weekends or short term stays this is close to Avondale university and school

and with Cessnock and the wineries only around 30 minutes away

service dogs can be catered for, but the area is not fenced so if you have a pet Burward cottage in Coal Point is probably your best option with secure fencing for your furry loved ones

Amenities

The main bathroom has a bathtub/ shower and a washing machine for guests to use and the second bathroom is ensuite to the main bedroom

heating and cooling is via a reverse cycle air conditioner

And there is WiFi and Netflix for our guests to use

Pets are welcome at the owner discretion

EV mini charging point available by arrangement at $10/ night

Burward Tiny home

has a queen size bed a lovely bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with an air fryer fridge toaster kettle and coffee maker there is a lounge with aircon TV and video and board games but no wifi

we also have a firepit for use weather and fire bans permitting

Rates

We have a 2 night minimum

Our nightly rates start from $190 for a couple and $30/ extra person / night up to a total of 4 guests in

tea and coffee provided and a selection of cereals

There is a 10% discount on weekly stays and a 20% discount on 4 week or longer stays

we have an EV mini charging point available at $10/ night if required by travellers with electric vehicles

we currently have no cleaning change so ask that you leave the cottage as you find it

We allow pets by arrangement provided they are fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments

dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage and must not enter the bedrooms our get on any of the furniture

they must have their own bedding

Burward Tiny home is also a minimum 2 night stay and we currently have an opening special of $150/ night
